After completing his primary, secondary and high school education at TED Ankara College in 1997, he continued his higher education at Hacettepe University, Department of Woodworking Engineering, receiving his bachelor's degree in 2001 and his master's degree in 2013. He completed his doctoral studies in the Department of Woodworking Engineering, and received his doctorate degree from Mugla Sitki Kocman University in 2023.
He started his professional life at Tepe Holding, working in production, planning, R&D, sales and management departments in domestic and foreign companies. He worked in Romania and Italy, and before establishing his own company, he was the general manager of Yale Kilit. Finally, he provided consultancy to domestic and foreign companies for approximately 8 years at Siba Trade, which he founded, and worked as a founding director at Kelebek Mobilya UK, and continues his work in the United Kingdom.
He started his academic life as a lecturer at Izmir University of Economics, and later worked as a lecturer at East Sussex College, Richmond Upon Thames College and Brooklands College in England. He currently works as the director of the Vocational School at Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design and also teaches at the Faculty of Design.
Saltik, who has many works in the fields of furniture and design, has successfully combined his professional and academic working life. He has visited over 50 countries, attended fairs, provided consultancy to many local and foreign companies, worked on country and continent-based products + designs and shared these works academically.
The panel for the Propertync Awards consists of a diverse group of judges, including 35% from TRNC, 35% from Turkey, and 30% from international backgrounds across various fields of expertise. These judges are assigned to review entries across all award categories, with each judge evaluating submissions that align with their specific area of knowledge.
