Mrs. Bektaş was born in Nicosia in 1979. After completing her primary, secondary, and high school education there, she graduated from the Department of Environmental Engineering at 19 Mayıs University in 2001.
Since 2005, she has been running her own private Environmental Consulting Bureau, providing professional engineering services in environmental matters. Throughout her career, Mrs. Bektaş has been actively involved in numerous environmental organizations. Additionally, she serves as the president of the Chamber of Environmental Engineers.
