Professor Huseyin Kanibir currently manages market operations for an international tourism company with offices in London, Toronto, and Istanbul. At the same time, he serves as board member and Chief Advisor on brand management in some international companies.
He has also been an academic at İstanbul Atlas University (IAU) since 2023. Previously, he was a marketing professor at International Balkan University (IBU) in Macedonia.
Professor Kanibir spent two years at Warwick Business School (WBS), one of the most prestigious business schools in the UK and Europe. He is a recognized expert in Corporate Marketing, Image Management, Strategic Branding, and Digital Marketing. His research addresses key questions such as how companies can generate competitiveness through marketing strategies, how image management influences consumers, how companies can motivate customers psychologically, and how SMEs can create outstanding brands.
He has received several awards for his research, including being named "Selected Young Scholar" by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (2011) and winning the Czech Republic's culture award (2008) for his work on "Building a Mutual Understanding towards a Multicultural Society in Europe through Marketing Strategies."
The panel for the Propertync Awards consists of a diverse group of judges, including 35% from TRNC, 35% from Turkey, and 30% from international backgrounds across various fields of expertise. These judges are assigned to review entries across all award categories, with each judge evaluating submissions that align with their specific area of knowledge.
