Osman Arayıcı graduated from the Interior Architecture Department at Mimar Sinan University in 1999 and began his academic career there in 2000. He completed his master's and Ph.D. degrees with the theses Factors that Determine the Perception of Space (2001) and Effects of Beliefs on Defining Space (2003).

As an academic, theoretician, and designer, he has published a book and contributed numerous articles and essays to national and international peer-reviewed journals and books. He has also participated in many international symposia. His work has been recognized with awards in national competitions, and he has exhibited both in group exhibitions and solo international showcases. Additionally, he has served as a referee, curator, and organizer for over 100 art events.

He currently lectures on Spatial Design, Furniture Production Studio, and Design Studio at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, while also teaching Design Studio at Fenerbahçe University. Alongside his academic career, he continues his professional work through his own design firm.
