Maurizio Meossi, (Siena, Italy, 1971), Architect, graduated from the University of Florence and continued his studies at the Architectural Association (London) where in 2002 he obtained a Master's degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from the DRL (Design Research Lab).
At the core of his research lies a vision of architectural design as a field of experimentation for defining new relationships between humans, the natural and built environment.
Following his personal experience as co-founder of the research group SPIN+ (exhibiting at Venice Biennale, 2000, Archilab Orleans, 2002, Architectural Association, London, 2002 and 2008), he embarked on a long collaboration with Zaha Hadid Architects from 2002 to 2004 as 3d designer, and then back in 2006 as Project Architect for the Citylife residential complex in Milan.
Associate Director at Zaha Hadid Architects since 2020, he has worked on some of ZHA’s largest Mixed use projects and Masterplans across the world, including Italy, Australia, Mexico, Turkey, Hungary.
Among other projects, he is currently directing the Singapore New Science Centre (NSC) in Singapore (under construction), and the IBTEC Masterplan in Johor (Malaysia).
The panel for the Propertync Awards consists of a diverse group of judges, including 35% from TRNC, 35% from Turkey, and 30% from international backgrounds across various fields of expertise. These judges are assigned to review entries across all award categories, with each judge evaluating submissions that align with their specific area of knowledge.
