Dr. Yılmaz Argüden is the Chairman of ARGE Consulting, a globally respected firm recognized for its innovative management strategies, future-focused organizational preparedness, and societal contributions. ARGE Consulting is the first Turkish company to sign the UN Global Compact and has been lauded by the European Parliament as one of the top three companies "Shaping the Future." It has received prestigious distinctions, including acting as a B20 Knowledge Partner for governance and sustainability, a European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) license, and serving as a development partner for IFRS Integrated Reporting.

Dr. Argüden has provided strategic and governance consulting to numerous Turkish and international organizations, helping them achieve business excellence, institutionalization, sustainability, and sound governance.

Professional Experience
Dr. Argüden's career spans leading roles in prestigious organizations such as Koç Holding, RAND Corporation, and the World Bank. Upon returning to Turkey at Adnan Kahveci's invitation, he held key positions, including Chairman of the Privatization Administration and Chief Economic Advisor to the Prime Minister. He has served on the boards of over 70 companies worldwide, including as Chairman of Erdemir and Rothschild & Co. Turkey.

Academic and Thought Leadership
As a lecturer at Boğaziçi University, Koç University, and the Turkish Military Academy, Dr. Argüden shares his expertise in governance, strategy, and leadership. He is also an accomplished author, publishing books and articles in multiple languages.

Dr. Argüden's global recognition as a thought leader in governance is evident through his roles as Chair of the Business at OECD Governance Committee, member of the IFC Corporate Governance Advisory Board, and Chair of the Board of Trustees at Argüden Governance Academy. He was also elected Global Chair of National Networks for the UN Global Compact, where he serves on its board, driving sustainability initiatives globally.

Contributions to Civil Society
Dr. Argüden has founded or led numerous civil society organizations, including:

Dr. Argüden is a former basketball champion, having won three Turkish Championships with the Tarsus American College and Boğaziçi University teams. He also served as Vice President of the Turkish Basketball Federation.

A distinguished graduate of Boğaziçi University, he received awards for academic and leadership excellence and earned his Ph.D. in Strategic Analysis from RAND Graduate School with honors.
