Dr. Gülizar Eroğlu is an expert in environmental education and management, as well as a landscape architect. She completed her education at Karadeniz Technical University in Landscape Architecture, Hacettepe University in Pedagogical Formation, and earned her master's and doctoral degrees at Near East University. Her master's thesis focused on "Determining Children’s Attitudes Towards Karpaz National Park," and her doctoral thesis developed a program aimed at establishing a connection between children and nature.

Since 1999, Dr. Eroğlu has worked at Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) as a landscape architect, trainer, and administrator. She has been involved in various environmental education projects, including the Karpaz Children Project, where she has provided nature education to over 500 individuals. She also contributed as a plant-habitat-landscape expert and environmental education specialist in the project for identifying potential Natura 2000 areas in Northern Cyprus. Additionally, she has managed landscape projects for the EMU campus and designed landscaping for public institutions such as Gazimağusa State Hospital.

Dr. Eroğlu is the president of the KTMMOB Chamber of Landscape Architects and the Karpaz Friends Association. She provides consultancy in environmental and landscape matters and has published articles in various magazines and newspapers. She has also served as a trainer in numerous cultural events and hosts the "Voice of Nature" program on BRT.

OUR JUDGING PANEL

The panel for the Propertync Awards consists of a diverse group of judges, including 35% from TRNC, 35% from Turkey, and 30% from international backgrounds across various fields of expertise. These judges are assigned to review entries across all award categories, with each judge evaluating submissions that align with their specific area of knowledge.
