Dr. Hüseyin Güler graduated from the Industrial Engineering Department of Marmara University in 2001 and subsequently completed his master’s degree in Business Administration at Uludağ University. In 2013, he earned his Ph.D. from Middle East Technical University (METU).
With over 20 years of professional experience in the telecommunications, automotive, public, and wood-based composite industries, Dr. Güler has 17 years of management and leadership expertise. He has held various roles, including Marketing Specialist at TURKCELL, Product Development Specialist at TOFAŞ, National Coordinator for the 7th Framework Programme and Head of the Department of Science, Technology, and Innovation Policies at TÜBITAK, and Secretary-General at the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Currently, he serves as the Global Business Planning and Innovation Director at Kastamonu Entegre.
Dr. Güler has been working at Kastamonu Entegre for seven years, during which his efforts have been recognized with six awards in the past three years. Of the initiatives launched under the Corporate Entrepreneurship Program, which began in 2018, two have continued to grow exponentially, and five new business models have emerged. Over the past year, the added value of innovation projects has reached nine times the department's budget. As a result of these initiatives, the company was ranked as the 29th most innovative company in Turkey according to Fast Company Türkiye's 2021 research.
Having completed his doctoral studies at METU with a focus on innovation networks, Dr. Hüseyin Güler has published articles and papers on innovation management and economics.
The panel for the Propertync Awards consists of a diverse group of judges, including 35% from TRNC, 35% from Turkey, and 30% from international backgrounds across various fields of expertise. These judges are assigned to review entries across all award categories, with each judge evaluating submissions that align with their specific area of knowledge.
