Prof. Dr. Naciye Doratlı is a distinguished academic and expert in the field of urban conservation and revitalization. She holds a bachelor's degree in City and Regional Planning from the Middle East Technical University Faculty of Architecture and a doctorate in Architecture with a specialization in Urban Conservation from Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU).  

With an extensive academic portfolio, including numerous scientific publications and contributions to editorial academic books, Prof. Dr. Doratlı served as a faculty member at EMU’s Faculty of Architecture for 25 years. During her tenure, she held several key administrative roles, including Vice Dean, Department Chair, Vice Rector for Technical Affairs, and Chair of the EMU Cyprus Research Center. Since her retirement in 2022, she has continued her research on both her area of expertise and Cyprus-related topics. She also actively participates in international organizations such as the Aga Khan Architecture Awards (Nomination Committee) and the Europa Nostra Council.  

Prof. Dr. Doratlı’s work reflects her dedication to sustainable and innovative urban development, focusing on the preservation of cultural heritage and the advancement of urban design practices.

The panel for the Propertync Awards consists of a diverse group of judges, including 35% from TRNC, 35% from Turkey, and 30% from international backgrounds across various fields of expertise. These judges are assigned to review entries across all award categories, with each judge evaluating submissions that align with their specific area of knowledge.
