Mrs. Ertürk graduated from Istanbul Technical University’s Faculty of Architecture in 1982 and completed her master’s degree in Construction Management Systems in 1984. While still in high school, she won first prize in a TÜBİTAK competition for her project on carbon monoxide purification from exhaust gases. During her graduate studies, she received an honorable mention for her work in Cumalıkızık at the 1983 Aga Khan Architecture Competition.

She began her professional career at ENKA Engineering and Construction in 1984, advancing through various roles over the years. From 1995 to 2003, she served as Assistant Manager in the Architectural Projects Department before being promoted to Department Manager, a position she held from 2003 to 2011. Since 2011, she has been the Assistant General Manager, overseeing the Architectural Projects Department.

Throughout her 35-year career, Mrs. Ertürk has contributed to and managed projects encompassing over 6 million square meters of construction across three continents. These projects include shopping centers, airports, high-rise office buildings, historical restorations, administrative and religious buildings, commercial and residential developments, power plants, and healthcare facilities, many of which were part of ENKA’s own investments.

Since 2017, in addition to her role as Assistant General Manager, Mrs. Ertürk has served as the Architectural Director of the ENKA Design Center. She is also an active member of ENKA’s Sustainability Committee, where she contributes to developing the company’s sustainability policies. Her efforts are focused on minimizing environmental impact, enhancing social practices, and improving quality of life for employees, clients, and society.

The panel for the Propertync Awards consists of a diverse group of judges, including 35% from TRNC, 35% from Turkey, and 30% from international backgrounds across various fields of expertise. These judges are assigned to review entries across all award categories, with each judge evaluating submissions that align with their specific area of knowledge.
