Positioned along the unspoiled coastline of Northern Cyprus, Sun Valley Marina is more than a construction project—it is a carefully considered response to a regional need. Rather than delivering just another marina, this proposal represents a sustainable and community-conscious vision designed to serve both today’s residents and tomorrow’s seafarers.
From its inception, the development has prioritized environmental integrity. Cleaning channels were engineered to preserve natural currents, and only natural stone was used to support local marine ecosystems. These efforts have already produced results, with a noticeable increase in fish populations and strong support from the local fishing community.
Innovation is evident in every design detail. The marina features a floating concrete dock system built for resilience against harsh weather, as well as the island’s first use of Neoflex technology for pontoon stabilization. Each material and method was selected for longevity, safety, and environmental compatibility.
What sets this proposed project apart is its deep community integration. Strategically located along the northern coast, Sun Valley Marina addresses a long-standing infrastructure gap in marine tourism and safety. During construction, local boat owners and fishermen consistently engaged with the development team—recognizing the marina as a much-needed haven from seasonal storms. Their input directly influenced the marina's final design.
The site is also planned as a dynamic leisure destination, featuring high-end dining at Taro Marina Ristorante and MARE Fish & Meat, a 360° bar, fitness and wellness zones, a beach club, and curated retail spaces. Comprehensive marine services, fire safety systems, and thoughtful lighting ensure the highest standards of comfort and security.
Sun Valley Marina stands as a model for responsible coastal development. Combining ecological care, structural innovation, and local relevance.
