Pop Art Dorms building is one of the newest developments in the South Campus area of Eastern Mediterranean University. It is both very near the campus and Çanakkale Lake District, where flamingos come every year, creating a very unique spectacular feast.

Omağ Development, who decided to invest in this building set off with the intention of bringing in a new culture of living for students and all the rest followed in alignment with this spirit. Miro Designroom, came in at this part of the scenario. In addition to supplying contemporary materials for a contemporary dormitory living, Miro team was asked to provide also interior design services.

Omağ Development and Miro Designroom started to collaborate since the beginning of the initial stages and were proud to bring the architectural plans to the quality it is in at the moment. Omağ Development wanted the dorm to be a warm welcoming environment for the students, where they could not only sleep over but also live as social contemporary individuals with high living standards of well-being. This meant: good services for good food, good communication/interaction, good work and good entertainment. In other words, this further meant well designed dorm rooms with variety, and well-designed common areas – such as the study areas, dining halls, open air terraces, fitness areas etc.
