KAIZEN Villas: Northern Cyprus’ First and Only LEED-Certified Villa Project

Inspired by the Kaizen philosophy—a Japanese concept meaning “continuous improvement”—the KAIZEN Villas project derives its name from a fusion of “KAI” (change) and “ZEN” (good). From its inception, the project was envisioned not just as a residential development, but as a model of sustainable design, aiming to meet the highest global standards in environmental responsibility and energy efficiency.

From the very beginning, KAIZEN Villas was designed to meet the rigorous criteria of the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification system. Throughout the construction process, measures were taken to minimize environmental impact. These included:

As a result of this commitment, KAIZEN Villas was awarded the LEED Gold Certification in 2024, making it the first and currently only LEED-certified villa project in Northern Cyprus.
