Prof. Dr. Kağan Günçe holds Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. degrees in Architecture from the Department of Architecture, EMU. A full-time professor at the Faculty of Architecture, Günçe also serves as the Vice Director of the Institute of Graduate Studies and Research at EMU. He has been the director of the Housing Education, Research, and Advisory Center (HERA-C), Head of the Department of Interior Architecture, and has served as a University Senator for many years. Currently, he is the elected professor representative senator. His research areas include architectural theory, environmental psychology, architectural heritage conservation, and housing-related issues. Günçe has published numerous articles and papers in national and international journals and conferences, and he is involved in European Union-funded international research projects in these fields. His academic work receives numerous citations on the ‘Web of Science’ platform.
The panel for the Propertync Awards consists of a diverse group of judges, including 35% from TRNC, 35% from Turkey, and 30% from international backgrounds across various fields of expertise. These judges are assigned to review entries across all award categories, with each judge evaluating submissions that align with their specific area of knowledge.
